Mia's POV:

I didn't tell Talia that Zayn called. I needed to talk to him first. I needed to hear his side of the story before she met him.

I drove her to school and as she walked in, I called, “Hey, we'll be going somewhere after school so make sure you're here at closing, okay?”

She nodded, not thinking anything about it. “Okay, bye, Mia!” She waved and walked into her school. She saw her friend and hurried to meet her, the two of them grinning and laughing about something.
