Mia's POV:

I paced in front of the ward, counting the seconds that rolled by since I'd given the vial to be taken to Talia. Jaxon wanted me to get checked but I'd climbed out of bed and hurried to her room. It was just next door. Zayn and Melanie were sitting on the row of chairs almost directly opposite the door.

The doctors were still administering the antidote. They had to pair it with some other vital treatments. I just wanted good news. Just some good news to keep going.
