Jace didn't even glance in my direction when he said, “I know she is. And I'm lucky to have her.”

Kelly let out a small squeal. “That's so sweet. Young love has to be one of the best things to ever happen.” She gushed.

“You're not much older,” I reminded her. I suspected she was probably in her thirties, seven to eleven years older, no more. “You're still young.”

“It feels like you're gaslighting me.” She said but she smiled. “Goodnight, Mia.”
