Talia got back home an hour and a half later than she said she would be back. She said she would be back by 7pm. 7:30 latest. It was a little past 9pm. I couldn't relax.

I was worried sick because she hadn't been taking her calls. What if something had happened to her? She was a member of our pack. The enemy could have attacked her. What if she was hurt and there was no one to help her?
