I slept like a baby. This was the best birthday I ever had. My bedroom was full of unopened presents. Everyone had gone over and beyond for me.

Just as I got ready for work, I got a call. It was William. I paused. I hadn't seen him since the street racing night after he'd lost to Jackson.

Even though he'd been a jerk to me, I couldn't just ignore his call. There was one time that he'd been the most important person in my life.
