“Jaxon,” I said, a warning tone in my voice. “I don't want a war starting because of me.”

“If he wants my woman, then he's going to get a fight,” Jaxon said. “I guess I'll see you later. Say hi to the kid for me.”

“I will.” I hung up. “Zayn, Jaxon says—” I stopped as I turned back to look at Zayn but he was already laid out on the couch, fast asleep. “hi.”
