The replica vanished, and the courtyard was silent. Still uneasy, Selene leaned softly against my arm. Beneath my skin, my wolf pulsed softly, alert and nervous. I let her take hold of my hand to help me stand.

"We must depart," I whispered. "People need to be aware of this."
