Michael's room had a slightly open door. I walked cautiously and slowly inside. Only the candles on the bedside table provided light in the otherwise dark room.

Michael was unconscious as he lay on the bed. Even before I saw him, I could sense the power he possessed.

He appeared flawless as his chest slowly rose and fell.

I took a step toward the bed. To avoid raising suspicions, every action had to be flawless and well-thought-out.
