Lena’s POV

The sound of my breathing filled the empty room as the television screen dimmed black. The freaking press conference that was more like a witch hunt than what it was supposed to be was over, but the chaos it stirred hadn’t stopped buzzing in my head.

My hands trembled slightly as I turned off the TV and for a long moment, I just sat in the silence, staring at my reflection in the blank screen, my heart racing uncontrollably.
