Cole had asked me to go home, to catch some rest while he figured out how to handle Adam and the online chaos he had stupidly caused us.

I had hesitated to do that, my mind buzzing with millions of questions, wanting to know if there was a way out of this rabbit hole the psycho had thrown us into.
