By the time I pulled up into the driveway back at my house, the anger from my interaction with Lena during training was beginning to fade, but I could still feel its presence like a goddamn shadow that I couldn’t just shake off.

I killed the engine, sat there for a few seconds with my fingers still gripping the wheel, and I tried to breathe, to put my thoughts together, to just basically let go of the moment. But it was not very successful.
