I wake early the next morning before the sun has fully risen, and immediately begin packing my belongings with quiet efficiency, moving carefully so as not to wake anyone else in the house.

As I fold clothes and organize my bag, Iris and Freya stir in my mind, clearly alert despite the early hour.
