I'd never been to a pool party before. There hadn't been any need for me to be scantily clad while dancing around a pool but tonight, my guardian decided it was best we attended such a party together.

I might have been excited if I didn't understand that this was one of his power plays. But I intended to turn the game against him.

Maybe he'd be fuming and regretting why he brought me over when I was done, but I sure hell won't be the only miserable person lurking around. ...
