Standing outside his bedroom door conflicted about knocking it, while being decisive on whether to knock or go back and lie to Aria that I tried talking to him but he refused to listen.

I didn’t think he would throw me under the bus if it eventually comes out that I lied. Taking a deep breath, I raised my hand to knock but hesitation gripped me yet again. Trying to appear as normal as possible as a couple of servants walked past, I forced a smile to my face.
