Disconnecting the call from Vaughn, I rushed to Uncle Malkiel’s office. 

He took one look at me and said, “Don't tell me there is more trouble.”

“I suspect Sam Bexley has instigated the Everette hotel board members. They called for an urgent meeting to confirm if Vaughn plans to sell the hotel to me. I think that it’s just a ruse since he wants to buy back the shares.”
