Selene was able to slip past all of the guards, and making her way inside the castle, she slipped into her bedroom and quickly changed. She hides her cape deep in her dresser before straightening out her outfit and hair.

She could hear voices outside of her room, and as they drew closer, she stood up straight, recognizing one of them as her father.

The doorknob turned and Selene braced herself for the worst as the door swung open.
