"Jo, stay in the car!" Nikko yelled as he had already moved me to the side and jumped out.

Byron was only a step behind him. I sat there for a moment, my mind trying to process what was happening as I watched them leave. My body felt numb.

"We can't just let the pack get attacked," Cressa's voice cut through, clearing my mind. "We have to follow Nikko and Byron, and help them."
