Logan's POV

As I entered the office, the buzz of conversations came to a sudden half, and all eyes turned to me. Straightening my suit, I swept my gaze across every face as I strolled further, with my shoes clacking on the polished tiles. Taking a deep breath, I entered the boardroom, ready to start the meeting.

As I stood in front of the projector, I glanced at the wall clock whose ticking sound was the only noise breaking the solitude.
