I walked away from Sebastian to check on Ella. It was over and everyone was safe, hopefully. I opened the door to my office and walked into the room.

Ella was staring out the window, "I heard what happened, is she dead?"

Her voice held some sort of deceit I couldn't place my fingers on, I shook my head to wipe the thoughts away.

"I gave her silver. I don't think she or her child would survive it."
