‘I didn't do it, Vivianne. I would never do anything to hurt you’

I let out a sigh.

I barely slept last night as I kept thinking of what happened, and even when I woke up this morning, those words kept echoing in my head every damn second.

It's already driving me crazy.

I tried to shake off the sincerity in his eyes… I tried to convince myself that he was lying to me, but a part of me was thinking otherwise.

What if he wasn't?
