Lily is coloring at the kitchen table when we get home, her tongue poking out in concentration as she works on what appears to be a rainbow-colored dinosaur.

"Mommy! Daddy!, Sorry I mean mister Brett" She says as jumps up and runs to us, and my heart does that thing it always does when she calls me Daddy. I chuckled even though she corrected her self, her calling me daddy like everything in my life suddenly makes sense.
