My eyes wandered around the hall, hoping to see Victor or Uriel. Yes, I invited the two so they can witness the prophecy of Countess Marissa tonight. They should just be in disguises, though, so no vampire would notice that they are not the same kind as us. But I could not see them, so they must be hiding from the throng.

“Happy name day, my darling,” Countess Hera greeted me when we reached in front of me. “I can’t believe you are growing up.”
