Uriel’s POV

I was about to call her because I was delighted that she was fine. But before I could even take a step so I could embrace her, I coughed up blood. I tried to stand, but I only fell, and no words were coming out of my mouth.

My face was on the ground. When I slowly lifted my head to look at her, she was landing on the ground. Her expressionless face turned to me, and the fire engulfing her body turned from red to blue. And again, I was amazed.
