I followed the duchess to the great hall of the palace. The walls were bare and very black. If vampires had colors, they would be black and red, but yeah, I treat them as creatures who are heartless and human killers. I laughed at my thoughts. How ironic that I am a vampire now. Wait, do I suck blood now, too, from humans? And where are they? Do they also have a habitat just like the other creatures?
