“…the time’s still ticking.” One would have thought that serving my head on a table was enough punishment from Astrid but it was apparent that she had more coming for me.

The walk back to the lodge felt endless, my mind wandered off to Danny. I thought about who was taking care of him back there. I should never have returned back here, I knew it then, but if I ever doubted that; narrowly escaping death was all the confirmation I needed to that fact.
