Lyra’s POV

My eyes snapped open as they glared at the ceilings. I gently slammed my palms on the other side of the bed. As soon as they hit someone, I got out of bed, slapping the walls gently till I found the switch.

The lights came on, giving me the chance to behold the man in bed. He was clad in a boxer, and he looked tired from a long day at work. I slapped the sides of my head with my palms to recall what happened hours ago, but nothing came to mind.
