“Is that the bitch everyone is talking about?” Elder Fred whispered to the elder seated close to him.

I could hear their whispers loud and clear even though they were barely audible. I have learnt to do that of recent, especially in council meetings.

It helps me capture everyone’s view on a matter, including the ones who just wanted to be neutral but would later whisper their thoughts to those closer to them.
