After dinner with the trio, I retired to bed.

I hadn't expected things to go as smooth as they did with Ethan but I was glad they did. Most of all the things I expected was Isla.

I expected her to speak up as per usual and counter what I said but she acted like she didn't hear what I told Evan.

That was some progress and I was happy that she had finally started to understand that she had no say when it comes to Evan.
