“Can you please explain the case you reported to me?” I questioned Jace as soon as we stepped into Lyra's office.

The scent in the air already told me all I needed to know, but sadly, it was impossible to successfully accuse someone without proper evidence.

“I caught them smooching.” Jace said. “Lyra and one other guy. They were at that other end. I promise you, I saw it with my two eyeballs.”
