It hadn’t been the worst sleep I’d ever had, but it had been pretty restless. I did manage to sleep until the next day, though. I took a shower when I got up and it was nothing short of a religious experience. Most of the injuries were entirely healed, but the hot water really made everything feel a lot better. I sent Matthew a message to let him know I was coming to pick him up. I told him we had a doctor’s appointment.
