Sam's POV

Sam worked his way through the darkness, attempting to find a light switch. Finding it, he flicked it a couple of times, but it was fruitless.

He used his cell phone as a flashlight, looking for a lighter for the oil lamps that still sat throughout the house, mostly as decoration. Luckily, he kept oil in them just in case there was ever a night like this, and he was able to light the lodge quickly.

The front door burst open, causing Sam to jump.
