Ophelia's POV

There were a few more empty desks than usual. Ophelia wasn't surprised. It had been difficult to get ready and actually get to class. She wouldn't be surprised if just sheer terror had kept several students locked away in their dorms.

There was something desperate in the air. It was nearly silent in the classroom as they waited for class to begin. Lilac hadn't even said much about what had happened with Mark after Ophelia had left them last night.
