Reluctantly, I released Piper and wiped away her tears. I wanted to assure her everything was going to be okay, that our plan would work, that she and her sisters would be freed from the blood oath their father had sworn, that Piper and I could be together. But I never got the chance. Nor was I so certain in our plan anymore.

Without the Pendragon Coven on our side, did we stand a chance of forcing the king to release them from the blood oath? Or had Piper been right earlier ...
