Moving while Beverly was seven months pregnant with twins qualified as temporary insanity. I knew this, Beverly knew this but we did it anyway.

The new house was beautiful underneath the chaos. Exposed wiring in the kitchen. Drop cloths covering hardwood floors. Paint cans stacked in corners.
