Ferguson's POV

I paced my room, restless. The eclipse was about to peak. I could tell from the salty taste in my mouth. It always came when I couldn't feel or contact my wolf.

I could see the sky through my window—blank without the moon or stars.

“This is going to be a long night,” I muttered.

I couldn't wait for this nightmare to be over.

A bang on my door startled me. It continued rapidly with a steady rhythm.

Who dared pound on my door like that? Did he have a death wish? ...
