The sun shone dully today like it's mind was heavy. Almost as if it knew something was bound to happen. It's rays streaked thinly through thick clouds.

Ferguson stood in front of the pack house, eyes focused on the gate. His heart beat slowly in his chest, mind heavy. The fate of the pack lay in his hand—on his call.
