Jenine's POV

I didn't know what I was feeling. My body didn't feel like mine—like someone else was living inside me.

“Is that normal?” I asked Laura.

I felt everything that person felt.

Her dark eyes surveyed me, one hand folded across her chest, the other caressing her chin.

“Well. I know she-wolves feel whatever their mates feel after they've been claimed and vice versa. You might be feeling what your mate is feeling,” she said with a glint in her eyes.
