"Good morning," that familiar voice greeted as I watched the coffee cup fill up.

I glanced at Kaid who was smiling at me like he had heard some good news or maybe he was in some sort of good mood that morning. Last night had been an unexpected one and seeing him that morning reminded me of everything he'd said.
