Chapter 26: Terrence’s Endeavors

Above all, I needed to continually remind myself to take compassion, even on the wicked, or at least, more morbid creatures of the earth. After all, God had created even them, and expected me to delight in, if not, embrace, any trickle or remnant of beauty that I could possibly find. For I knew, deep down, whether I cared to admit it or not, that beauty could be found in all things, if only I had the courage to look.
