"You would be coming back today, right?" My mom's call woke me up.

I yawned first before replying. "Yes, mom." I was already in Canada, but at Ava's house. I just couldn't bring myself to go to home yesterday. I wasn't in my right state of mind.

"Alright, honey. I will be waiting for you."

After ending the call, I dropped my phone on the bed and covered my face with my hands.
