Following Grace through that cursed forest was harder than I anticipated. The witch's tracking charm kept me on her trail, but the mist that clung to everything made it difficult to maintain visual contact. I stayed far enough back that she wouldn't sense me, close enough that the charm wouldn't lose its connection.
