Lori's intervention is the last thing I expected.

The Elders exchange glances. Murmurs ripple through the chamber.

Alpha Laf leans forward. "Gamma Lori, you wish to present evidence?"

"Yes, Elder." Lori's voice is steady despite the healing bruises on his face. "Evidence directly relevant to this case."
