Grace POV

I turn and the door slams shut behind me.

Terror jolts through my chest like lightning. Every muscle locks. My first instinct screams to fight, to tear through whoever trapped me here. But then I see Sarah collapsed against the wall and relief wars with panic in a sickening twist. She's breathing. She's alive. But I'm locked in here with him—the wolf who's been stalking me for days.

The gray wolf emerges from the shadows.
