"Scared?" Alice's voice rises. Indignant. Furious. "You deliberately stepped aside! And pushed her! I saw it!"

Murmurs ripple through the warriors surrounding us. Agreement. Confirmation.

Each voice feels like vindication. Like truth finally being spoken after too long hidden.
