I grab my bag and car keys, rushing out of my bedroom to the sitting room. My mom is sitting on the couch with the triplets in their activity center.

“Hey, mom.”

My babies' heads snap toward the sound of my voice. I chuckle. I walk over to them and give them a kiss on their cheeks.
