My hands wrap around Norman’s arm as we enter the hall. Gold lights flicker in every corner of the white interior, paintings line the walls, red decorations drape the space, and golden chairs glint under the chandeliers.

Everything in this room speaks of luxury, richness, and power, a harsh reality that reminds me I don’t belong here, not in this world.
