For one reason or another, I feel incredibly nervous. Is it because I haven’t met a lot of Nathaniel’s friends? Is it because I know he is on edge after losing such a close friend? Is it because it is another woman who is meeting him?

I do not think I have ever been the jealous type nor have I ever really been shy. Still, it feels like there is some kind of unspoken tension in the air around me.
