For the first time in a while, I have the place to myself. Nathaniel is out running errands and, for once, Amber didn’t go with him. I don’t know if Nathaniel asked to go by himself or if she was too busy doing something else. What I do know is that I am grateful for the silence. A person can only listen to Amber’s laughter for so long before feeling like they are going to lose their mind.
