I cursed under my breath as the rogue dragged Claire away from me. I could have chased after them and beat the arrogant rogue into a pulp, but I doubted that that would help my clause. I needed to be more strategic about this. I couldn't risk Claire being any angrier with me. She was a stubborn woman. She already seemed determined not to speak to me.
