Dr. Senne examined me first. Checked my vitals. Blood pressure. Heart rate. Temperature.

"You're malnourished," he said. "Dehydrated. Your body is already under significant stress."

"Is that a problem?" I asked.

"It's not ideal. But we don't have the luxury of waiting until you're in better condition."

"So we can still do this?"

"Yes. But it'll be harder on your body. More intense."

"How much more intense?"

"Difficult to say. Everyone responds differently to synthetic heat ...
